My 1st Christmas

Well to say the least Christmas was very busy for us. Christmas Eve we went to church for a candle light service. Then we headed to Brian's parents for the Magill Family Gathering. Isabel had a lot of fun playing with her cousins and opening presents. When we got home Brian and I opened our presents. We have always done this on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning started early because we were cooking breakfast for my mom and brother. After breakfast more presents! Then we headed to my Aunt Mary's for lunch and yes presents. Isabel once again had a great time playing and opening gifts. By the time we left she was exhausted. She fell asleep before we got out of the driveway. Then we went to Brian's parents for supper. By the time we got home we were all very tired and ready for bed. It was a long day but we really enjoyed Isabel. I can only imagine what next year will be like.

Christmas pictures

Isabel will be 10 months tomorrow so I went to have regular pictures took along with her Christmas pictures. She did really good except for every time I sat her down she took off crawling. So it was a lot of work for me, I got my exercise for the day. She also had pictures made with her cousins. They all turned out really good.

Putting up the tree

We decided to go ahead and put up our tree since Brian was home to help. He entertained Isabel while I decorated the tree. Isabel loved the angel that goes on top of the tree. You can't tell from the picture but she is fiber optic and Isabel was amazed with the lights. She also liked the ornaments that play music. Every morning when we come into the living room she waves hi to the tree.

Our 1st Thanksgiving

As you can see Isabel was ready for the food.

This was our first Thanksgiving with Isabel and it was great. We did the same thing we always do but it was so much more special with Isabel. Having her makes the holidays so much fun. Watching her experience everything for the first time is wonderful. I can't wait until Christmas.

Hanging out with friends

A few weeks ago we went to Knoxville with our friends Leslie, Shawn and Levi. Isabel just loves Levi. She thinks he is so funny, she just laughs and laughs at him. He loves her too! He is always hugging her and entertaining her. He calls her I bell. Leslie and Shawn have a new addition now that had not arrived just yet when this picture was taken. But we had decided to try out their double stroller and I just love this picture.
